Seeking Young Singers for 2023 Season
Whether you like singing in the rain, belting out the classics in the car, or participating in your school or church choir, you could be among the next group of Cantate Young Voices (CYV) singers to take the stage with Cantate Carlisle.
CYV is an auditioned choir for students in grades 4 through 8.
We offer vocal coaching sessions to help you to prepare for your audition, and every singer receives the music, training, and t-shirt uniform. But we all know that’s not entirely what it’s about…
It’s about the fellowship, spending time with fellow singers, learning, growing, and of course…
The opportunity to perform on that amazing stage at Carlisle Theatre.

So, if you are in grades 4-8 for the 2022-2023 school year, we’d love to hear from you.
- When you complete the registration form, you will be contacted by our vocal coaches to choose a time and place for your coaching sessions.
- You’ll also have the opportunity to sign up for an audition time.
- Scholarships are available, so don’t let the registration fee deter you.
Young singers benefit from music education, the opportunity to perform on the Cantate spring concert in the historic Carlisle theatre, and a great deal of fun with fellow singers of all ages!
